Love Finds Judy Garland

In this retro-radio style show, Joan Ellison brings you young Judy Garland's smash hits and the latest on her love life. The swelegant tunes, accompanied by pianist Jason Aquila, include "The Trolley Song," "Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart," "You Made Me Love You," "How About You," "Good Morning," "The Joint Is Really Jumpin' in Carnegie Hall," "That Old Black Magic," "I Got Rhythm," and of course, "Over the Rainbow." Mark Flanders is your radio host. It's a celebration of the world of Judy Garland & Mickey Rooney, the delights of being young in Hollywood in the '30s and '40s, and America in a world at war.

Joan's solo cabaret show, Get Happy! Judy Garland 1944-'54, tackles Judy's next decade of song.
